The first edition of the G20 Innovation League, a special event of the Italian Presidency of the G20, took place in Sorrento from 9 to 10 October 2021, with the aim of increasing the level of collaboration between public institutions and the world of innovation, startups and companies on a global scale.
Within this framework, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation – in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency and the Italian Innovation Fund (CDP Venture Capital) – worked on the publication of a White Book.
This White Book presents the contents of the first edition of the G20 Innovation League, with a focus on the five main global challenges we identified: Cleantech, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things and Wearables, Smart Cities and Mobility, Healthcare.
In its second part, the White Book offers an overview of the 10 startups selected as providing the most innovative solutions to tackle these global challenges and foster global investments and trade.
