AESI Study Seminar “Ethics in the International Organizations” – 6 July 2021

The Study Seminar of the European Association of International Studies (AESI) “Ethics in the International Organizations” was held on Tuesday 6th of July, in the cloister of Palazzo Borromeo.

The event was opened by the welcome greetings of Ambassador Pietro Sebastiani and Professor Massimo Maria Caneva, President of AESI, followed by speeches by Professor Ugo Villani, member of the AESI Scientific Committee (remotely) and Vice Admiral Giacinto Ottaviani, President of the Center for Higher Defence Studies (CASD).

Then, Amb. Gianfranco Varvesi, member of the AESI Scientific Committee, and Prof. Caneva coordinated a session dedicated to the papers by some AESI students about the “G7 in Cornwall 2021”. In particular, they discussed the proposed goals in light of international challenges such as the achievement of the global common good and the equitable and sustainable development.

The conclusions were entrusted to Minister Gianluca Alberini, Deputy Director General of the Directorate for Political Affairs and Security of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs adn International Cooperation.
