Event “Governing migration. The good practice of humanitarian corridors” with the Community of Sant’Egidio

On June 16th, 2021, the event “Governing migration. The good practice of humanitarian corridors” took place outdoors, in the cloister of Palazzo Borromeo, in order to develop a moment of reflection and debate on the challenges posed by the migration phenomenon and in particular on the instrument of humanitarian corridors as a legal and safe way of entry for people in need of international protection.

The event, opened by the institutional greetings of Ambassador Sebastiani, was attended by: Luciana Lamorgese, Minister of the Interior, Marco Impagliazzo, President of the Community of Sant’Egidio, Paolo Naso, coordinator of the “Mediterranean Hope” refugee and migrant program of the Federation of Evangelical Churches in Italy. H.E.R. Cardinal Gualtiero Bassetti, President of the Italian Episcopal Conference, closed the debate.
