AESI Study Seminar “Crisis and diplomacy: is there a road to peace?”

The AESI (European Association of International Studies) Study Seminar entitled “Crisis and diplomacy: is there a road to peace?” was held on Tuesday 23 May at Palazzo Borromeo.

The event was opened by a greeting from Ambassador Francesco Di Nitto and Professor Massimo Maria Caneva, President of AESI. This was followed by some members of the AESI Scientific Committee: Ambassador Adriano Benedetti; the Director for Political and Security Affairs of MAECI, Ambassador Pasquale Ferrara; Dr. Daniela Salvati; Ambassador Gabriele Checchia; Ambassador Laura Mirachian; Councilor Francesco Giglioli, Head of Cabinet of the Minister of Culture.

Guest of honor at the meeting was the Secretary for Relations with States and International Organizations of the Holy See, H.E Msgr. Paul Richard Gallagher. The debate with AESI students was moderated by Dr. Cinzia Vanzo, AESI Secretary General.

For over twenty years, AESI has been carrying out training activities for young graduates and university students of Italian universities who are preparing for a diplomatic and international career.
